This week we entered the score zone and made the winning hoop swish basket goal with A Warrior’s Heart. Really. We considered some classics, too, but that’s what we ended up deciding on. Like, we hovered over The Graduate for a second before being like NAHHHHH and choosing this. So join us in following the heart wrenching tale of Keegan, the dyslexic brother, and the few minorities we could find to sympathize with as we struggle to understand the confusing and bizarre world of sports. Special thanks to Yilin for taking notes.
A - “Did you see that fancy camerawork?” R - “That’s called slow motion, Amrita.”
"Don’t private schools have limits on how long your hair can be—" (character takes off his shirt) "OH MY GOD DO they have limits on how muscular your back can be??" - R
"He’s glistening, the sports are near" - R
R - “This is so Pride and Prejudice!” A - “This is a sports movie! You can only make sports references!” R - “Fine! This is so Remember the Titans. This is so Cool Runnings!!”
A (at the climax of the film) - “Who is Sullivan?” Y - “The main character!”
yilinsl asked: Dumb friends must watch movies over winter break. Movie club reunion, ALL DAY MARATHON STYLE!!!!
